Bed Back and Beyond was created by our host CK.  She is a happily married pastor's wife and beagle mother. In 2019, while walking with her two beagles, she was yanked backward when the dogs spotted a rabbit behind her.  That innocent walk led to CK needing a microdiscectomy to relieve her from the terrible pain she experienced for five months. She will never forget the feelings of despair, anxiety, and depression she had to battle.  She has since created a Reddit community called "microdiscectomy," YouTube videos, and Reels to be a source of encouragement and hope to those currently in pain.  The Bed Back and Beyond Podcast is her newest addition to her aim to be an emotional support.
